       The Torsk dinner is a festive dinner - catered- and tickets are required. If you'd like to attend, please send an email to info@vesterdalen.org and we'll get you information on getting tickets. Cost is usually about $15-20 each person. Torsk, by the way, is boiled cod. With butter, it tastes remarkably like lobster! Delicious!

        Member displays - an evening not to be missed! We'll have a number of food displays with free samples of rømmegrøt, waffler, lefse and more. It's not a dinner, but samples are fun! Other members will have displays on bunads, rosemaling (rose painting), geneology, carving and much, much more. This is a fun one for the family! We may even have several vendors with Norwegian items for sale you won't find anywhere else. As usual for a meeting, there is no admission charge. Bring your friends who are interested in Norway, and you'll all have fun.

            this is our only fund raiser, and the highlight of the lodge year! We'll be cooking lutefisk at Messiah Lutheran Church and serving, family style, with boiled potatoes, cole slaw, lodge-made lefse and Swedish meatballs. A feast! No tickets are sold at the door (members and guests only). If you'd like a ticket, please email info@vesterdalen.org and we'll send information and have a member contact you. This is an event not to be missed!

            Our annual Christmas celebration - bring a salad or dessert, the lodge will provide meatballs (left over from the Lutefisk Dinner). Santa will be there for kids 12 and under. Bring a $10 or less gift wrapped with their name on it for Santa to give it to them.
